Jika  ingin menampilkan video atau file multimedia yang tersimpan di laptop ke layar yang besar sementara Anda tidak memiliki proyektor, Anda bisa menyambungkan laptop ke TV untuk mendapatkan tampilan layar yang lebih besar ketimbang hanya di layar laptop.

Ada beberapa cara untuk dapat menyambungkan layar laptop ke TV. Berikut 5 cara koneksi laptop ke TV yang bisa di ikuti :

1. Koneksi menggunakan port S-Video

Super Video atau biasa disebut S-Video port tersedia di laptop yang memiliki fitur TV-out. Jika laptop Anda memiliki fitur tersebut, Anda bisa menyambungkan laptop ke TV analog maupun digital.

2. Koneksi menggunakan port DVI

DVI atau Digital Video Interface biasanya juga tersedia di banyak laptop yang berada di pasaran. TV model terbaru bisanya juga memiliki port DVI ini. Untuk dapat menggunakan audio dengan koneksi DVI, maka diperlukan audio kabel terpisah dengan kabel DVI.

3. Koneksi menggunakan port VGA

Hampir semua laptop memiliki port VGA. Port VGA juga tersedia di HDTV  meskipun bukan keluaran yang terbaru. Anda harus mematikan laptop dan TV terlebih dahulu saat melakukan koneksi menggunakan port VGA.

4. Koneksi menggunakan port HDMI

HDMI atau High Definition Multimedia Interface merupakan cara terbaik untuk melakukan koneksi laptop ke TV, khususnya jika TV yang Anda miliki merukan TV LCD atau LED keluaran terakhir.  Sesuai namanya, dengan menggunakan port HDMI, maka akan mendapatkan tontonan kualitas tontonan dengan resolusi terbaik. Dengan menggunakan port HDMI, Anda bisa langsung menikmati gambar dan suara hanya lewat satu kabel saja.

5. Koneksi menggunakan Wireless Converter

Dengan menggunakan Wireless Converter untuk melakukan koneksi laptop ke TV, maka Anda tidak  lagi membutuhkan port atau kabel tertentu lagi. Kualitas tontonan yang bisa Anda lihat pun setara dengan tontonan High Definition. Sayangnya produk yang satu ini belum banyak tersedia di pasaran Indonesia saat ini.
